Lost Lake III - June, 2009

Our third backpack trip to Lost Lake in Kings Canyon National Park. This trip has become something of a tradition, and it's always fun with a big group of friends. We encountered less snow than last time, and of course the fishing did not disappoint. Several new faces as you'll see below - good times were had by all.

Steve, Lakshan and Lopez climbed to the summit of Twin Peaks, about 2,000 feet above the lake. A mighty steep hike, but well worth the view. The water was warm enough to go swimming, which was fun.
